Just a note to myself for today. There is a clear distinction in the development process of custom code versus industrial (commercial) code. It’s an obvious thing, but I’m reminding myself that the development of custom code can result in a different communication process than commercial or industrial software. Just to further clarify, there isn’t a difference between the commercial/industrial/custom code and open source/private-closed software. It’s the process that might be different and thus a different view for costs, usability, etc.
